Projects

Gregg Perrett started Perrett Construction, Ltd in 1976 with the purchase of a 1/2 yard American dragline.  He learned how to operate a crane loading scrap iron with a 1948 Michigan truck crane.  The first large project was rebuilding Cornel Dam east of Valentine, NE for Nebraska Public Power District in 1981.  The first Nebraska Department of Roads project was performed south of Thedford, NE on US Hwy 83 for J.L. Healy Construction in 1983, consisting of placing riprap and installing in two precast concrete cattle underpasses.  Since then Perrett Construction, Ltd has widened miles of highways, built many bridges, box culverts, dams, landfills, lagoons and constructed numberous projects for Union Pacific Railroad and Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway.
